Kitchen Tools Twitter Party and Cuisinart Giveaway
We’re right in the midst of the biggest gift giving week of the year – what did you have on your wish list? Maybe something on this 2010’s Hottest Kitchen Gadgets list? I always seem to want a new kitchen gadget – last year my sister surprised me with a dehydrator, and a few years before that a blender/food processor combo. Rumor has it in our apartment we’re going to be buying a Vitamix soon – I’m beyond excited! I feel like we’re adopting a child. (Where should we put it? What will we name it? What recipe do we want to make first???)
I’m always recommending favorite kitchen tools and appliances to my friends, clients, and family members since I think so many gadgets can help make cooking easier and more fun! I love talking about kitchen things, from food (obviously) to gadgets. That’s why I’m co-hosting a twitter party with fellow dietitian and kitchen tool lover Deanna Segrave-Daly of Teaspoon Communications.
Inspired by all of the chatter we see on twitter about people discussing favorite kitchen tools and gadgets, and recipes they’ve created with them, we’re hosting our #kitchentool twitter party on Sunday, January 9th, 2011 at 8:00-9:00pm EST.
Come party with us online (yes, I realize how nerdy that sounds) and share your favorite kitchen gadgets you can’t live without, and new ones you received over the holidays. Just follow the #kitchentool hashtag as well as me(@DietitianJanel) and Deanna (@tspbasil). You can also sign in at http://tweetchat.com/ to keep the tweets streamlined by entering “kitchentool” up top.
What’s more exciting than talking about kitchen gadgets? Winning them. Your first tweet will enter you to win a hand immersion blender from Cuisinart (one of our favorite kitchen tools)! I use this to blend soups in a snap, and Funk uses it almost daily to make breakfast smoothies. Feel free to spread the word to all of your tweeps about this par-tay.
We look forward to chatting with you in the twitterverse!
